Biography
Chase DeMoor is an American professional football player and star of the hit Netflix series Too Hot to Handle. DeMoor was born in Washington State on 12 June 1996, and studied at Central Washington University. He has almost 1 million followers on Instagram and more than 2 million on TikTok, and is now a huge celebrity influencer.
DeMoor’s Childhood and Family
DeMoor told Draft Diamonds that he was raised in Eatonville, a small town in Washington State. He played football in high school but was cut when he was a freshman for two reasons: he “wasn’t conditioned enough” and was “undersized”. However, this rejection motivated him to improve in both areas, and he became captain of the team the following year.
In the same Draft Diamonds interview, the professional football player revealed that he was just 10 years old when his father passed away. His mother and her "abusive boyfriend" raised him. DeMoor soon realized that he wanted to build a better life for himself, so worked hard to get into college and chased an athletic career. He said that he feels his father watching over him, and will do “whatever it takes to make him proud.”
Chase DeMoor’s College Football Career
DeMoor made a name for himself during his college football career. He started to play for the College of Siskiyous in California in 2015, where he achieved 5.5 sacks and a dozen solo tackles. After two seasons, he moved to Central Washington University in Kittitas County. He spent his senior year playing as a defensive end (or defensive lineman) for the university’s Wildcat football team. He also took part in two college bowl games.
College football website, Hero Sports, named DeMoor the Division II Special Teams Player of the Year in 2018. Chase DeMoor was also recognised by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) for making the most blocked kicks (six) that same year. He remained undrafted after leaving Central Washington University, but tried out for the Seattle Seahawks.
Joining the Canadian Football League and Indoor Football League
Chase DeMoor signed a contract to join the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a player with the Montreal Alouettes football team. Unfortunately, the pandemic caused the CFL to cancel the 2020/21 season, and DeMoor was unable to play.
However, in 2021, DeMoor joined the Arizona Rattlers for his first season in the hugely popular Indoor Football League (IFL). Soon after, he joined the Spring League in an attempt to make his dreams of playing for the National Football League (NFL) a reality. He demonstrated remarkable skill as a defensive end for the Houston Linemen, champions of the Spring League 2021.
The Spring League is a professional football development league offering an opportunity to attract NFL coaches and scouts on the lookout for new professional players. No salary or expenses are paid, but playing in the league can lead to contracts with major teams.
Starring in Netflix’s Too Hot To Handle
Chase DeMoor may be an accomplished defensive end, but he’s also known for starring in the second season of Netflix’s hit dating series Too Hot to Handle. The show initially features 10 participants, all of whom have struggled to form long-term romantic relationships. New contestants join the show later in the season.
The participants share a house for four weeks, during which time any form of physical intimacy is banned: no kissing or sexual behaviour is allowed. The aim of the show is to cultivate bonds based on personal connections rather than physical. Contestants attend various workshops designed to help reveal and develop their personalities throughout the season.
The participants compete for $100,000 at the start of the season, but this decreases whenever anyone breaks the rules. Several people were named joint winners in the first season, and shared a prize of $75,000.
How Did Chase DeMoor Do in the Netflix Series?
The Houston Linemen player reached the final episode of Too Hot to Handle season two, along with nine other contestants, and had claimed that his sex drive was “through the roof”. He formed a close connection with fellow contestant Carly Lawrence, but their relationship gradually became weaker after Carly revealed that she wanted more affection and DeMoor admitted that he struggled with insecurity after being cheated on by an ex.
Chase DeMoor went on a date with another contestant, Tabitha, later in Too Hot to Handle, and the pair hit it off. Later, DeMoor told Arizona Republic that he and Carly “have a really great relationship” after Too Hot to Handle, and that they “talk all the time.” He confirmed that he’d like to visit Tabitha in the UK as a result.
One of the most memorable moments featuring DeMoor involves a cockroach landing on his forehead during an intimate discussion with Carly. The football player joked about the incident with Arizona Republic, claiming that the “cockroach got more screen time” than him.
He also revealed that the most valuable lesson he learned from taking part in the show was how to listen to others, and cited the workshop on “letting go of masculinity” as being a “pivotal point” in his development.
Becoming a Star on TikTok
DeMoor had already built a strong following on the social media channel TikTok before he took part in the Netflix show, and his popularity has grown since. He told Arizona Republic that he discovered the app after a friend recommended that he try making his own videos. DeMoor recorded a workout video, posted it, and then deleted the app. However, he soon amassed more than 100,000 followers based on his debut video alone.
He proceeded to upload more videos that showed him catch footballs in wildly entertaining ways, and now followers love to watch Chase DeMoor play his favourite sport on TikTok regularly. He said that he “can catch anything”, and puts his acrobatic skills to great use to amaze his fans.…

You can choose a package based on what you are after.
Shout-out: If you want the talent to give you or someone else a shout-out and the video is for personal use (including as a gift for someone) then you should select the ‘shout out’ package.

Business shout-out: If you are a business and would like either of the above, for an endorsement or congratulate an employee then select either the ‘business shout out’ or ‘business performance’ package.
