Biography
Pete Alexander Bennett is an English TV personality, actor, and musician, who rose to fame after winning the seventh series of the long-running Channel 4 reality show Big Brother in 2006.
How Pete Bennett Became a Star on Big Brother
Pete Bennett was the first person with Tourette's syndrome to enter the Big Brother house. His unforgettable appearance on the show's seventh series helped bring the condition to wider mainstream attention, with a representative of the Tourette Syndrome Association saying that Bennett had helped "put Tourette's on the map". They also expressed their hope that "people will recognise other people with Tourette's and see they have more in common with a person with Tourette's than they'd realised."
Pete was one of 22 contestants vying to win: 14 entered the house on the launch night, while 8 more joined the show later in the series. Pete won with an incredible 61.2% of the final vote after more than 90 days in the house, and was nominated for the "Most Popular TV Contender" award at the National Television Awards in 2006.
However, the award eventually went to the late Nikki Grahame, Peter's fellow BB star and close friend. He appeared on Good Morning Britain in 2021 to discuss Grahame and the pair's friendship after she tragically passed away following a long battle with anorexia.
Pete's Life After Big Brother
Pete Bennett became a beloved star during his time on the reality series, and appeared on various TV programmes after leaving the house. He was a guest on some of the biggest shows of the mid-2000s, including Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and The Friday Night Project. Peter released his autobiography in November 2006, titled Pete: My Story. It was later reissued under the name My Journey With Tourettes.
He also featured on Big Brother's Bit on the Side as well as other programmes related to the reality series. He has also been a guest on numerous other series over the years, including The Jeremy Kyle Show, on which Peter openly discussed the challenges he had faced after finding fame. In the interview, Pete confessed that he ended up homeless and felt lost after his victory on Big Brother; sadly the work had "dried up" quickly.
Achieving Success as an Actor
Peter has built a solid career as an actor since 2014, when he first starred in a short film "Mind Set" followed by a role in the feature-length film "The Mothertown".
He has performed in numerous other movies and TV projects over the years, with parts in Coulrophobia, The Snarling, The Slayers, London Calling, There's Something in the Shadows, and more. Peter also plays Des in the British comedy series Green Fingers, streaming on Amazon Prime.
Pete Bennet and His Music Career
Music is one of Peter's biggest passions. He has been the lead singer with Daddy Fantastic and Pete Bennett and the Love Dogs. Peter had joined Daddy Fantastic in 2004, but left the band after winning Big Brother to focus on a solo career. The Love Dogs featured at Glastonbury and other notable venues, but separated in 2011. However, in 2021, Pete performed a comeback gig with the Love Dogz in London.
Where is Pete Now?

No, we will never process the payment until the order has been completed. When you initially book your video message, a hold for the total amount is placed on your account. This is only processed and authorised once the celebrity has completed the order. If it is not completed for any reason, your money will be released back to you.
You can choose a package based on what you are after.
Shout-out: If you want the talent to give you or someone else a shout-out and the video is for personal use (including as a gift for someone) then you should select the ‘shout out’ package.
Performance package: If you want the talent to carry out a performance, for example, to sing a particular song, and it is still for personal use, then please select the ‘performance’ package.
Business shout-out: If you are a business and would like either of the above, for an endorsement or congratulate an employee then select either the ‘business shout out’ or ‘business performance’ package.
Thrillz live: Select this package to meet your favourite celebrity in real life or virtually via Zoom for up to 20 minutes.
We urge you to triple-check your instructions before placing your order. But we’re only human, so if you identify an error in your instructions or would like to change them, please contact the Thrillz support team via our email support@thrillz.co.uk. Please note, the team will only be able to amend your booking if the celebrity has not yet completed your video request and within 24-hours of your purchase.
Celebrities have seven days to complete each order from the date of your booking. Although they complete the videos much quicker. If your request isn’t completed within that period, it will expire and you will receive an email notification from Thrillz. The temporary hold charge on your debit/credit card will be released.
